    MOD CLOSE THIS TOPIC NOW! god i dont wana get into it again lol. If you have a lot of money then...Intel is the best. Statisticly intel is better OK! Amd is MUCH cheaper though (at least on there non top of the line...chips) Amd 2500 for $90 looks about the same as a P4 2.4 Ghz which is like $150.

    think ull find that the amd 64 bit processors are currently the most expensive and are currently the best performing on the market...not the intels

    I duno...I wouldnt buy the athlon 64s though, there too new and way to high.

    agree with you on that but they are the best performing processor between the amd&#39;s and the intels on a desktop pc

    until intel bring out a 64bit cpu then they dont really have a cpu yet to match it performance wise but I wouldnt touch them at the moment cos theyre too new as u said and theyll be getting updated very shortly so the mobos u buy just now will mean u cant upgrade when they r changed.....the bartons are a good processor (i have one myself) simply cos they r cheap and oc well plus they handle everythin u throw at it just now
