Of course, but when nzbscout first opened all the old nzbgeek nzbs they stole were already taken down (at least every single one I tested).
It was common for nzbgeek releases to die a quick death anyway, so the nzbscout site was worthless for just downloading the nzbs. So I think the "download now" button was more than just an ad. I think it was the whole point of the site.
However, nzbgeek has since modified their obfuscation scheme which is now keeping (some) posts alive longer - so some of the newer stolen nzbgeek nzbs could actually work.
