    Ok..dbpoweramp uses lame and it sounds great...so im not listening to u. and yeah...my 64bitrate sounds a lot better then my 192bitrate MP3...i duno it just does..get on soulseek and download some of my wma which are small and u will see how good they sound.

    Yah and I started it...haha. Newayz I dont love it im just saying it sounds GREAT to me and was wondering why noone likes it..but all I share is MP3. I still dont know why you have a problem with DBpoweramp...is something wrong with it? or is there a better free ripper?

    Did you listen to the exact same album? In MP3 192 and WMA 64?

    Or were you listening to a 2003 rip through 64 k WMA and a 1973 rip through 192 k MP3? Because in that case you could be right.

    Some old cd's do sound bad [the original] and you cant make em sound better. [unless they are remastered but even then]

    So try listening to the exact same album in both formats when you want to compare. Use good speakers as well, most pc speakers are crap.

    If you still say 64 k WMA sounds better then 192 k MP3 i give up on you

    Will EAC rip music and make it sound better then poweramp??? Cuz poweramp is SO easy to use..is EAC also easy?

    So secure mode will make it sound better? How much better...cuz I&#39;ve noticed that most of the files im getting off of SLSK that are 192...dont sound as good as the ones I used to get years ago off WinMX at 192...
