    if youve made it this ong downloading files illegally, whats wrong with uploading em? i mean canada must not be that superior to the ultimate ways of the US's ways of fighting crime, i.e. beating people with sticks

    the canadian equivlent of the riaa scum suckers are wanting to do just that...
    sue everyone as per the riaa - Canadians already pay levies on media
    (cd-roms, tape cassettes, mp3 players) so in that way the artists are being
    compensated. It's the distrubution of songs on the i-net that they want to
    curb.
