I think TimeSplitters 2 is absolutely brilliant for multiplayer action. It had lots of choice and customisation. The only downside was repeated weapons - why have single pistol and double pistols as separate weapons? You should have been able to just pick two up and use them both.

I can't wait for TS3.

Anyway, I think that Unreal Tourney is good for online action.

I've not really tried much else.

I don&#39;t think he was putting them in order. Although I don&#39;t see why anyone would rate Hitman 2 as the best ever 1st person shooter, when it was clearly supposed to be played as a third person shooter. Plus it wasn&#39;t really so great.

Half Life wins...the single player was awsome for it and opposing force only helped. Then there are the mods...so many wonderful mods. I figgure any game that can keep me playing for ~5 years is a damn good game. btw doom 95 also rocks

Goldeneye rules all. Theres nothing more kickass than the RC-P90. 80 bullet clip of pure ass-kicking/ruling/owning/just-plain-destroying. Fucking great.
