    what files are contained in the .tar?

    is it heapsa files e.g nfsu.001, nfsu.002 etc?

    Thats a very good point dray, but I'm not sure that he has actually found the files he extracted yet. I'm just waiting for him to post

    If it is loads of .001 files you just open the first one with WinRAR, then follow my instructions above basically.

    it has a cd1 cd2 and a no cd crack. and when i open the folders theres a bunch of "dev-nsua.r00 then it keeps goin 02 03 etc...

    Open the first .001 file with WinRAR once you have extracted them from the .tar. Then follow the guide above.
