STEP 7. To FTP into your XBOX you will need to connect your Crossover Cable (CAT5) from your Ethernet Card in your PC to the Ethernet Port in the back of the XBOX.
To FTP files to and from PC to XBOX you will need some FTP software. I recommend CUTE FTP.
Once installed goto the Site Manager and enter the following details

FTP Host Address - 192.168.0.3
User Name - xbox
Password - xbox
FTP Port - 21

okay i did step 7 and cuteftp tells cant connect, do i have to know what my ip is on the xbox is because i dont know where to find it on the system info on mxm it has
enet 0.0.0.0 and gateway 0.0.0.0 dns1 0.0.0.0 i dont even know where to input

an ip address what am i doing wrong

ps i have to disconnect from my cable modem in order to use ethernet dont know if that matters or not

Sorry if this has come up already, but I'm not reading all the pages.

Will this work with PAL versions of all the equipment needed for it to work?

Yep...this has all been tested on my PAL Xbox..and works a treat....I actually think it will work for NTSC Xbox'es also...but i would double check!!

k my life story.... :

my friend just bought an x-box Dashboard 4920 version... umm im pretty sure its higher than 1.1 cuz it was made in 2003...

k i went out and bought the crossover cable
plugged it in the xbox to the pc ethernet...
downloaded cuteftp put the adress in and password and stuff...
and it says it cant CONNECT its like the ip adress is rong or something.....

computer does say tht the cable is plugged in and the xbox is turned on....

and now im lost.... i dunt noe how to do it....

i read all the pages and do i need the moderns audio hack? or something???

plz redo the guide or plz explain to me..... :helpsmile: :helpsmile: :helpsmile: :helpsmile:

any help wud be greatly appreciated

Erm...Ummm.Errrrr....the actual Hack itself does help matters slightly..try using the Hack as well and who knows what may happen?&#33;&#33;?&#33;
