Just becuase i have have crap speackers as is, and these suck but are better and cheap.

My god, these speakers ROCK&#33; I was a bit skeptical at first w/the &#036; tag but when i hooked them up my room sounded like a theater. And that is only with four out of the six speakers. The computer i was using didnt support 6 channel audio(not the comp i bought these for) and i cannot wait to hook all of them up. to those who said that the bass is overpowering, WHATS WRONG WITH YOU&#33; Its perfect. i myself am a gamer and i played bf1942 with them and its amazing. I also watched the movie Spawn and my whole room shook during parts, it just blew me away. Music is superb as well.
BUY THESE&#33; if you are in the market for a budget system, you wont be disapointed
Only complaint is the bass adjustment knob is on the sub so you have to reach.
Many kudos to NEWEGG, recieved my order in 3 days and i ordered on a Sat. night.
