Counting Posts...

Look at my profile. I have a huge amount of posts in the lounge that never count. It's no biggie but a lot of those are so called "quality" posts. I have always thought they should count.

Nothing to really complain about of course, but since it was brought up....

After hearing your opinions, I now think it should count, but whether it counts or not, oh well. Rewards are still good though.

Yeah of course the quality of your posts always counts, but board members know who is good and who isn't, you can't hide that.

No need for any "lengthy discussion" on this one.

You guys bring up some valid points. The one and only point I have to counter is that making posts in the "worlds" count will create one more place where spamming will occur. I think it's something that should be discussed. Just a note though guys, you worry too much about your post count!! I mean is are those little gold stars a phallic thing?

For me it isn't about stars. I'll get mine one way or another, since i spend enough time on k-lite and here. It's just that, for me, I do post a lot in one forum and I have always thought those should count.

I agree the new system seems flawed. I think over time, you will see more spam in the hash sections done by those who wish to increase their post count. That is the LAST place I want to see spam. At the same time people taking the time to answer questions and offer help in the worlds won't be getting any recognition for it. The stars don't mean everything, especially with all the spamming these days, but I think with this system they will ultimately mean even less.
