no just get hot, i have a Abit running at 2.5 volts for my ocing... mainly you should think like this... higher the volts= hotter you could pobably get pretty far as long as cooling can handle it... but yes too much would cause it to melt...

higher vcore also reduces ur cpu's life span.

abu are you having any problems at all? if the temps are so low and your computer is running stable then why are you worried about the vcore?

i actually have to agree, i actually modified my mobo so it could handle bigger vcore settings for the bigger clocks i was pushing... I wouldn't be complaining about your predicament...
