I know this has been posted before but I'm damned if I can find it, tried searching so don't bother suggesting it!
It's the good old can't delete file, it's in use problem with xp, anyone remember how to do this, because the file sure as hell isn't in use, can't even get rid of it in safe mode!

Out of The Ordinary
Right click here and save target as. When the file is downloaded right click the file and choose install.
Then delete Your file.
or
In Windows XP You can delete the file this way:
Start -> Run -> Command -> cd c:\YOUR FOLDER NAME -> del YOUR FILE.avi

wont that disable all the "properties" information of all the avi files in the future?

NO. It just stops XP from doing a preview. But if you're worried, you can save the reg settings before doing this, so you can undo it.
