    Well I don't know what the difference is, but I have the Wheel Mouse Optical, and its absolutely great.

    Peat - wheel = the scroll. Practically all new mice have one, including opticals.

    i think i&#39;ll go for the Wheel Mouse Optical 1.1 - its only £5 more than the basic, and its a long term investment.
    Besides Microsoft wouldn&#39;t charge £5 for a little red LED, would they ?
