    just want to clerify something:


    that averkey hooks up to a regular monitor (vga) output port on your computer, it DOES NOT get its video from the usb port. the usb port gives it its power. so your laptop must have a vga port on it (same as a monitor cable) for it to get the video and a usb for power only.


    oh and i just want to say that my school had one of these back when i was in grade 5 (grade 10 now) only that wasnt the lite version, it was a bit bigger and didnt get the power from USB, it had a seperate power adaptor. but either way it had really good picture quality.

    i knew something didn&#39;t sound right about that when this thread started, but i didn&#39;t wanna step in it. if there is such a thing as a USB video output, it prolly looks like garbage because USB is a low bandwidth connection. at the least, you&#39;d need a USB 2.0 or Firewire based adapter, to transmit video at full speed & resolution.

    I had a trust scan converter a few yrs ago mate,before tv-outs on cards.They were pretty good at the time,i &#39;m if they would match a g/x cards tv-out thou now
