Dunno really, only about 1-2 gig per month. I used to download a lot more before I got this new comp but I never watched half the movies or listened to most of the songs, so now I only download things I know i'm gonna watch/listen to.

PLEASE help me get my Free IPOD! my brother got his 4 days ago and i need help with referrals. the screensavers just aired a story and it works. Just use my referral link and i suggest the 2 week blockbuster trial. you won't owe anything! http://www.freeiPods.com/default.aspx?referer=10154369
I really stopped counting. I'm on my third 100pk and used up a 50 before those. Almost all are movies @ 700+/- mb range. Several game filled disks. So what 300 disks with 700mb ...210gb round to 200 plus whats on hard drive.
Uh oh..I think I'm becoming a file packrat.
soo many people share files now that I think the internet might have a secure/very limited feeling in the future. We will probably have to log in to about 1-2 government ISPs that are monitered 100% and you only have about 1-2 hours to use it.. hey, with the way people share stuff now..it might happen .
But! people like us allways find a way to get around things (i.e crackz, serialz, ahem warez). There's allways private networks

Few questions, which government is going to do this, how are they going to enforce it throughout the world. On what basis are they shutting down all of the existing ISPs.
I sincerely hope that you are serious about what you say. It really gives hope to everyone else out there.

I am replying only to encourage both upgreade to broadband and to share everything they can, because this is only how it is possible.
As of May 2001, I had no digital music, and no movies.
Games are another matter. I worry myself about that.
As of March 2003, I have all the music I want, 250 feature movies, another 200 worth in short features and television.
How much did I download?
Almost no music. Out of the 23 Gb of my digital music, I encoded it myself from my own CDs, my friends, or the public library, to the tune of more than half.
Almost all video. Out of the (I have no idea, 300-400Gb?) movies, I've actually only ripped two or three myself. And although I've also been allowed to mooch from my friends, and vice versa, I guess that all that stuff has been pretty much been downloaded.
Game producers and companies and designers make so little money that I am worried about the playable games I've downloaded.
That's a huge amount too.
My CD and DVD burner is busy all the time.
