Are you talking $ or £?
$. ok. maybe a bit more. 1800-2200. that's my guess. shouldn't be that expensive [/b][/quote]
2,200.00 USD = 1,162.85 GBP seems abit too cheap.

Yeah, the 51 only gets about 8% better than the 3400+, for about 400 dollars more.

I'm guessing overall this will cost about $2500-$3000(£1,320-£1,585). I'd be willing to spend that though I don't know if I should build my own o get someone to do it for me.

I edited my specs again if anyone can fill in the blanks(reccomended monitor, floppy, case etc) please do. Also tell me if I'm missing something or could reccomend better things for the ones I've filled in.

I'd probably break it if I built it myself, I'm kinda accident prone.

PHILIPS 107E56 17" CRT Monitor $105.00
GIGABYTE nForce3 150 Chipset Motherboard for AMD Socket 940 CPU, Model "GA-K8NNXP-940" $209.99
AMD Athlon 64 3400+, 1MB L2 Cache, 64-bit Processor $425.00
Corsair XMS Extreme Memory Speed Series,(Twin Pack) 184 Pin 2GB(1GB x 2) DDR PC-3200 $547.00

CREATIVE GigaWorks S750 7.1 Speaker $459.00

Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop Pro $88.00

Total: $3,089.00 or £1,632.75

I'm not going to buy it just now but if you can tell me if I'm missing something or if there's anything wrong with this set up that would be great. I'm still might change the case and monitor but I don't really want the price any higher can you reccomend a good monitor and case for about the same price as the ones I already chose? Another problem I'm having is I'm in the UK if someone in america could buy the stuff change the plugs and send them to me that would be cool.
