    I had almost the same problem after installing the Nimo Codec pack! Build 8 i think?

    MP3 files played great untill i tryed to type a message to someone or edit a Tag info on a file... BANG! Crash!
    Other players like Winamp played okay on the background. But i never could pre-listen a mp3 file anymore!

    I use the SLD codec pack now and it runs and playes without any problem!
