You dont have to encode the movie to divx with Virtual Dub cuz it will take much time and you will lose quality of the picture.
Use instead this program called "AVI FourCC Code Changer" to change the codec to divx and it will take just some seconds with no quality lose.
AVI FourCC Code Changer ī
The "AVI FourCC Code Changer" is also included in the K-Lite Codec Pack.

I couldent get TMPGEnc to encode for me so I let Nero do it for me
But when I play the VCD on my DVD player the picture is upside down
Does anyone know why?
Is it a encoding problem or burning problem?

I donīt really know what you mean but the way I wrote in my previous post was to change the codec to DivX with the "AVI FourCC Code Changer" which makes the movie use the DivX codec,
and then the TMPGEnc accept it as a DivX so it will be as normal without encoding the movie again.
Saves time and quality.

Sorry crack man
i was'nt fully aware of the full functions of the 4cc changer as i've never used it to my knowledge, the codec paack i use is pretty old but never give me any problems so i've had no need to change or update!!
And when encodin or anyother problem i encounter, i always take the time and have a fiddle around until i find a way around the problem myself,it might not b the best way around !!but its better than constant postin for just answers and not learnin anything, hence my slightly assbackwards xvid solution early!! and advise anyone with the same problem, to use the 4cc changer method!!
