Why are so many people so keen to have wipe everything and start over? What a silly, horrible idea...

The chaos would be terrible, spammers trying to spam their post count back up, people arguing over who should make the replacement pinned topics (apparently this is seen as some sort of prize).

But, christ, it was bad enough to lose 20 days worth of people's posts...all of it? All of it? No thanks...some of us enjoy reading back on a good thread.
