Thank's alot for helping everyone. But i reinstalled when i had the problem last year, and it didnt do anything. And i am afraid if i uninstall, it will mess up my subscription, and 20$ down the drain.
i have done complete windows re-installations,
and yeah, sometimes i have had to contact symantec to re-instate it, but...
if its legit it will be no prob
they will have you cleared up in day or so,
and you wont lose any protection because they give ya a couple of months free on the install
(that gives ya plenty of time to get the subscription active)
copy your product ID and all that before you uninstall
go to help>about nav and jot down your account #
and just for shits and giggles...
go to help>product registration and copy that # as well
you will have all the info you need then
