Problems After Installing Codec Pack

In step 3, I went to the codec lists. For every one of them but one (audio and video), when I tried to remove the codec, I received a message saying that the codec is required by the system and Windows may not work properly without it. Should I uninstall all of these as well?

Installed Mega Codec Pack 1.03 an discovered OGM files will not play w/ BSplayer. Is there a bug with the player, or is it with the pack? I uninstalled an loaded up 1.02 an BSplayer with the OGM codec played like a dream.
