I have seen many 800 Mb mpg files on the internet and wonder y they post it if most cds are 700 Mb?
Is it possible to burn a 800 Mb mpg file onto a 700 Mb cd??
I have never tried this and dont want to waste money rite now cuz i am broke.

Yes it is possible, if u do an VCD bcuz VCD's dont count the MB they count the Minutes so as long as the movie is under 80 minutes u can burn it

that has to be the worse explaination i have ever heard but nice try.
all cds are really 800mbs
mode 1 cds are for data they use 700 mb for the data and 100mb for data correction for when the cd gets scratched.
mode 2 cds have 800 mbs for data only. mpeg has built in data correction so the 100mb can be used for data so you can fit 800mb onto a normal cd.
