EDIT* definitely NOT Blind Guardian nor Iced Earth, i wish sometimes that Iron Maiden just never existed!
Iron maiden put the HEAVY back into METAL when most of the other bands at the time where running around with there mothers wigs and make up on singing about how nice every thing is,
so if it wasnt for bands like maiden metal wouldnt be what it is today, so if thay never existed bands like metallica slayer and venom couldnt of taken it to the next step.
