    Yup. Mine runs fine @3200+ with stock heatsink and an 80mm fan with a fan adaptor.

    no one is buying the amd64 for the os anyway. i have no idea what ppl r thinking. "oh, i'm gonna wait. windows64 isn't out yet". ppl get the amd 64 cuz of it shear power ppl. but, it's ur money. just thought to throw some suggestions.

    its like buying a car because it can go 200mph when theres no place in the world you can over 60 yet, if nothing is using the full potential of the cpu why should i pay for it.

    Windows XP pro x64(preview) is available here. And it is free for 360 days after installation.

    The fact that it is available now but time limited indicates that the retail version will soon be released.

    ha lately i&#39;ve been formatting every 2 days so that wouldn&#39;t be a problem for me.


    just gotta get a 64bit cpu though.

    Why not make a ghost image? Restoring that would be a lot quicker that formatting and re-installing.

    actually that is what im doing.
