    Yep, I've heard quite a few stories in the past about GF2 cards making the XP install spit.

    Another thing to try - put your CD/DVD on it's own IDE channel, as I've heard some DVDROM drives fuck the install up if there's something else on it's cable.

    Yes that is correct.
    Both hard drives are there in bios POST.
    Will try to get an older card from my mate and try it with that in.What a pain...
