For what reason did you purchase that first console? (Xbox, Gamecube, or PS2)

The first, though not the last, console I ever bought was a 3D0. Another POS. It's pretty unforgiveable that I bought it because I worked in a computer shop so I should have known. I ended up swapping it with a mate for his Amiga.

I haven't bothered with the current generation of consoles. Though maybe Santa might leave me something under the tree this year?

My parents brought me an Atari 2600 for me for x-mas way back when they came out...Because i saw someone playing river raid and bugged my parents for ages...So yes i got the Atari 2600 for River Raid

The first console i brought with my own money was an x-box...and i brought it for V8 Supercars 2 (at the time it was an x-box exclusive)...halo 2 coming out in november, fable & the GTA Double Pack...and the only reason id want a PS2 is for the GTA series but it was always gonna come out on x-box anyways...so the choice was easy...also Doom 3 and Half-Life 2 are coming out next year on x-box...(well Half-Life 2 isn't conformed just yet)...but yes...x-box has everything i want in a system...it even comes in handy as a coffee table

got a ps2 for RE: Outbreak, got an xbox for halo, got a gamecube for RE: Zero. i'd say halo was the only one not to dissapoint :p

DreamCast-traded gbc for 1 ^_^
