Betamax was crap and you know it , I got a load upstairs Exorcist, Texas chainsaw thingy and several other old tapes, got the player too but it does'nt work
I think it's out of garentee now

Oh and the Pepsi / coke thing is an atlantic fight, Coke is the biggest seller in the uk

Betamax was much better. They were just poorly marketed and more expensive.

Coke was the first and is the largest in the world.

I can actually drink either Coke or Pepsi but I like Pepsi better.

Coke won't make me yak or anything.

I can also drink RC Cola and supermarket brands.

To be absolutely honest i'll drink anything like that, I drink panda pops all the time, but Pepsi is just too fizzy and the taste is too light for my liking

I'm a U.k pepsi man myself it just tastes a bit fruitier to me, it depends where you drink it from anyway I suppose pepsi and coca cola sell the drink as a concentrate so it depends on your water and who mixed it, the pepsi in burger shops and pubs always tastes watered down.

Maybe in the US but here you can pick up a betamax recorder for about £5, tapes by the boxload, like 100 for a tenner.
Altho that obviously depends on what tapes, I do know if you have a copy of "I Spit On Your Grave" on Betamax you could get about £150 for that here since it only officially ever got released on Betamax here, so the beta versions are worth money due to lack of them.
Having said that your's would'nt be any good here cos it's in NTSC, our are PAL
