Why don't you get your own computer? Show your mother you can be trusted and responsible by doing as she asks. I'm sure you can get plenty of advice on this board to get something good yet affordable.

lol i do have my own... and im getting my second own one... therez currently 3 computers in my house, but only hers has dsl internet.... lolol...

Get some cpu fans(you know the smallish black ones). you need as many as will fill the space on the back of your monitor(the bit with the vents) glue them together(making sure they all blow the correct way when wired up) connect them to a 12v dc power supply and place it on the back of your monitor with the air flowing upwards.

first of all... you know that cpu fans are reaching from 80mm to 120mm... they are so small they wont do anything... any second... the cpu has to be connected onto the motherboard and im pretty sure the wiring isnt long enough... second fault... i will need a ton of those little things for it to actually work well... ..... and heat generates from three locations in a monitor....
