So, you need to have the TV set up right,
it has to listen the right channel, there might be one built in,
or you can do search, check the TV manual for details.

Also, the PC, has to be sending the signal.
There's tons of options in ATI control panel.
And, reading the manual should reveal the thruth about
    the matter.

I cannot remember the details how it was done and I dont
currently have TV or Ati screen card to play with.

    easy: rightclick desktop, properties
    settings -> advanced ->displays

turn on the tv, and your sending a signal

now to make your TV screen the one to view the movies on (for some reason the movies will appear black on one screen and picture on the other (note: this is not true for DVD playback (bet they did that to make it even more weird )):
each screen has 2 blue buttons (at least, it had that with my 9200 SE and now has it with my 9600 PRO), one is a ball in a circle, and one is 2 screens kinda merged......

you want to set your TV as primary (the ball in circle) and your monitor as secundary (the other one)...... make sure you dont set both to primary, as it will fuck with you monitor resolution............

to watch movies on your PC again, switch them back.........

also, its best to switch the TV off again (off as in the option to view your comp with it) after use, this will make it easier on your video card (though i never do it )

Never had a staticy problem with mine before.
Actually even games played a 1024 x 768 look fairly decent on the televison, although the resolution sucks, kinda nice sometimes to on my bed and play UT2k4 on a 32" rather than my 19" monitor.

However, can be kinda blury when it comes to text, that's really all I ever notice it really being blury on, but if you resize the text, looks good to me.

I mostly just use it for watching Anime though, it's absolutely perfect for that.
