Merlin-It's either a Shelby or a clone; not difficult to find repro parts to do a clone. I've done LOTS of these-probably my all-time fave.
I've owned upwards of 30 'Stangs and worked on/built many more-Shelbys, too.
Currently sitting on a large pile of Shelby Cobra engine/drivetrain parts; someday find the right sheetmetal to wrap it in.

By the way-does anyone remember the mid-60's SC427 A.C. Cobra? THAT was a CAR!! B) B)

BTW-sequential taillights were standard on the Shelby. The one it your pic is '67-'68 vintage. Taillights were indeed pirated from a T-Bird.
