    yeah, for NOD32, the crack is a bad idea. Basically, the crack lets you install the "trial updates" without the trial period from expiring. Unfortunately, the "trial updates" only include virus definitions, and do not include the program updates. So, with the crack, you can only protect against new virus, but you can't really update the program.

    To use the real update servers, and update the program, you need a username/password, and those change every month or so. I know a couple of sites that keep pretty up-to-date with the info, but I don't think I'm allowed to post them on this forum. But, if you PM me, I'll be happy to send some links around, because this is such a great antivirus.
