Thread: My hard disk won't work if another one isn't plugged on the same ide cable.

    I always look on the internet how to set them.
    or just look at the label on the top of the drive, it usually says how do set them.

    some older bioses dont support that large a disk, so you have to limit the size, get the bios to detect it, renable the larger size and intall a software that runs at boot to get the full size.
