great post none-then-less. I adore History and have studied the Nazi occupation of Germany and the Unification in 1871 yadda yadda and the movement of Hitler quite extensively, so reading something like that is good!

Yes, exactly! Logistics! I mean in a maze you don't calculate every possible outcome, or well in a game of chess?! No! You use the "Rule of the Thumb" or "Huersitics" as they call it in AI Programming, anyway, yes Logistics

    great post!

and instead of winter... US will experience burning desert temperature during june/july period.

i am pretty sure their equipment will overheat often and the troops morale will be pretty down if they haven't won the war by then.
US equipment is probably capable of withstanding the heat and sand....USA have plenty of that type of terrain to test their equipment out before putting out a purchasing contract.

The British equipment however, as demonstrated in Yamen last year......wont.

    eg:

Cheiftain Tank air filter will have a life span of about 2 Hrs once summer temperatures and conditions hit the forces.....designed for 1 yr in Northern Europe.

Linx Helicopter Blades....lifespan in Hot Desert conditions about 6 hours

SA80 (issued rifle to UK forces).....will start jamming after about 5 rounds.

Hell, British Boots were MELTING there....(They have the wrong type of rubber souls)

The above examples are from memory; but the information is freely available....

This type of thing is WHY there was a 'window of opportunity'.......If we dont win by the summer, God help the UK forces there

    All great posts,

Did you know the history of the Stealth Bomber?

I was primatively created by the Germans in the 1960's to bomb New York city.

The U.S. has gained plenty of resources from Germany.

The Germans also had great Jet Propultion tech 1941 that almost led to the defeat of U.S. air strikes. Japan had purchased some of the first jetfighters for this pupose.

Given only few more weeks U.S. would have been defeated.

    Resouces come from History Channel.

kit matters but it is not essential, most pros have bought thier own kit and with tweaking the sa80 will last long enough for you to get a decent gun, like an AK47 inde fuckin structable
