So does it sound something like "Car Zar"???
no r' sound anywhere? Also the second part is a bit longer than the first as in Ka-Zaaahhh[/b][/quote]
I think this is the difference between pronouncing it in the American and English way?
Let's stick to the Dutch version; put some potatoes in your throat and try to pronounce it again: Kaaa - Sjaaa.
BTW, is it potato or potatoe, tomato or tomatoe (pronounced)?

@ Master YodaX: AAZAK?

Not "Kah Kah" either.

"Potaito" = British English
"Potahto" = American English

"Tomaito" = American English
"Tomahto" = British English

Confusing, no? You Dutch have a much more sensible language...

So do most countries, come to think of it...

Here's one to think about:

pronounce 'laughter'
then add an 's' to the start of the word and think about the new pronunciation.
Wierd, no?

Oh, and a lot of my friends seem to think it's KaZaA, but it is KaZaA.

Yet I know I will continue to happily pronounce it with the emphasis on the kah. The other way it just sounds lame.
