IM Clients (I'm fed up with AIM!!!)

The only alternatives for AIM or AIM-compatible, I am aware of, are the "all-in-one" clients:

-Integrity Messenger (freeware, spyware free)
-Trillian (most likely the best one, IMO, however Pro version needs cracked)
-Messenger2 (freeware, has spyware)

You can try a google search for "instant messaging" or "I M clients" or something to that effect and then see what you come up with. However I do not think you will find a stand-alone application that utilizes the AIM client exclusively. AOL does not exactly encourage companies to cash-in within their territory. But who knows...

but unfortunately trillian's been crashing too so i'm back to aim again.
next time i get the error message i''ll post it.
