    I had both FF 1.01 and 1.02 sitting in my add/remove programs too.
    Didn't know it until I read this thread, then went and checked.
    Funny I should post a link to the solution before it even happened, huh?

    Next time I won't be using FF's updater. The old way is still the best by the looks of things.

    When I update I uninstall FF but don't touch my profile, then Install the new version. Never had a problem with multiple versions being listed in add/remove programs and of course all settings and bookmarks, extensions etc. are left untouched. That's the best way to do it.

    Thats probably the best way davec8, welcome to the forum by the way.

    I'm too anal to leave double entries in add/remove tho !

    Should explain that I remove the old versions thru add/remove and just reinstall .Thats if the muliple entries bother you. Same with T bird e-mail .
