i wish i lived in a country where one could afford to quit their job like this. has she not pointed out these errors to her seniors, has she not checked the legal side or seen if theres a union to turn to.
everyone here without a job is banging their head against a wall at the shortsightedness and childishness of this situation.
for both of your sakes i hope she chickens out
She didn't.Originally Posted by TheDave

Unless her salary and travelcompensation were fixed.
They said they couldn't, the dumb fucks.
Fre will have a new, better job in weeks.
The shortsightedness and childishness is the way the company treated her.
For your sake i hope you understand not all people want to get fucked over
by their employer.
Health and joy in working are way too important to let yourself be treated
like that.
It needs guts to actually quit when you are fed up.
Her colleagues applauded her.

Btw. what does the country you live in have to do with this???
Btw 2. Everyone here???
Please talk for yourself. Others can do their piece, i think............

i've been out of work for about a year (and i am ashamed of that)
in the past year i've applied for countless jobs and had dozens of interviews, yet not one job offer. i prefer to blame this on everyone else than me
Sorry to hear that, Dave.
Makes your response somewhat more understandable.
Also sorry to hear of your shame. You shouldn't.
Though it explains your attitude towards me and Fre.
My shamelessness concerning my disability to have a job must be appauling.
But believe me, if you can cure my back and bones and muscles, i'll be the first
to cancel my benefits.
Oh, and on a sidenote, i think i am one of the few who actually is honest about
my situation.
Blame me, i don't care.

Oh, and Manker: Living off my benefits????
My benefits cover 60% of our monthly bills, without food etc. that is.....
Like that's relevant.Originally Posted by Yogi

You mention honesty but the fact is that you need others to adhere to the system to finance your chosen lifestyle yet won't entertain the thought of contributing yourself - you are able to type, to think, to walk, to drive yet you say that you're unfit for gainful employment.
That's just bollocks.
I'm not saying that finding employment is easy but you're not trying. Sitting back and letting other people provide for you isn't being a free spirit, it's being lazy. Once a month I do some paperwork for a local branch of a company called Remploy - their employees are really disabled, mentally and physically, and could live quite comfortably without working for up to 30 hours a week. I suppose they want to give back after being looked after by the state.
Dave tries to get work but cannot, which is probably to do with his locality and lack of experience. I have no problem with that as he will doubtless overcome it - you merely don't try because you can't be arsed.
