Parser for NZB in newsgroups

this is true, but the nature of the beast is that i rarely get any nzbs from here, purely because they tend to be available elsewhere, with a larger degree of content.

Many here are prior to elsewhere and as for content weeding through oodles of crap gets annoying.

the problem with any site which relies on uploads is that unless you implement some system of regulating (can only dl if you ul) you have little content.

The section is still relativly new and has decent posters and I think we only need a hanfull to make it actractive. I think requiring dl for ul would cause more damage than good. The only thing that has been changed recently is that you can only get attchments if your registered wher as prior even Guests could as well.

The problem with the newzbin system is that as of yet, there is no "scene" tag system - i.e. the dvds section is full of useless crap, a lot of which is recodes from svcd/cams etc. - i guess this makes uploading "better", but at the end of the day, it becomes difficult to see what there is.

Thats why I think having a tidy section as it is may be more attractive since there are many sites that have the tons of post setup that you have to weed through. Maybe a good medium would be to have two seperate sections here so that users could view both individually. Alternativy is having them auto post but moderate them before they show...

Out of interest, can you tell from site stats how many of the nzbs are dled?

You can look at the attachments and it seems the traffic is steadly climbing. I see many that have quite a high number count. It also seems that the section at many times is the busiest on the board with the highest viewing status...
