i have been asked my som1 to build a basic computer.Thr proccesor they need is an amd duron 1.3ghz oem.And it says on ebuyer it requires a heatsink but what is a good 1?

A heat sink is a big bit of shaped metal (aluminium or copper) that is used to draw heat away from the processor, modern processors also need a fan on the heatsink.
Some thermal paste/grease is normaly needed between the processor and heatsink as well.

Don't buy an AMD OEM (without HSF=heatsink & fan) cpu. First they give you only 90 day warr. (sometimes 15 days). For $5-15 USD more get an AMD retail (w/HSF) & it comes w/3yr. warr.
