I recently removed alchol 120% from my system - and - using easy cd creator (came with my Dell machine) - each song cut has a cda extension instead of mp3. So, this prevents me from playing the cd.
any thought's?
thanks ahead of time!!!

they are .mp3 already - I have created cd's two monyhs ago using these cuts. Now they are written out as .cda
There must be a default somewhere in the system that is doing this?

No, they're not corrupt - that was my first thought - I ran them thru coll edit - and - had no issues. I record the music for a local dance scholl for their competition team. Just did a few cuts last week. Those cuts were labeled as a .mp3 on the cd. Now, as I said, are showing .cda (cd Audio).
There must be a setting somewhere that I can make this happen?
thaks for your help... I was able to solve the mystery. When I removed Alchohol 120% and oyher audio software - the properties for the cd drive were switched to data. Corrected the issue.
