My internet is down a the moment so I need some other way to use torrents. If I went into my local library or a cyber cafe or something, how easy would it be for them to discover what I was doing? Cos I'm assuming they wouldn't like it, and as I'm using really fast trackers wouldn't it be really obvious what was going on? Would they know it was me or could I blame it on the bloke sitting next to me or something?

ok lets say you download a movie to a library computer,, then what?
do you watch it right there? Cause I don't think brary comps have burners.
Email the movie to yourself? unlikely.
Try direct download, theres a couple sites like that
only have rapidshare stuff.

Well I woulda just put everything I downloaded onto a memory stick. I usually only download music anyway so it wouldn't be anything too big

you can download from a cafe and transfer that data to a usb stick ..
you can even hide your utorrent from the tray icon and keep seeding what you have downloaded ...
to hide utorrent - options-preferences-other - boss key - you can set a boss key there to hide uttorrent .. alt + h , ctrl +h .. or any other key combinations ...

Yes you would only need uttorrent installed on say a 2gb usb drive and all downloads to your usb drive but i would preferably wait until your internet is back or ask a friend to help download the ones you really need.

Wouldn't it be risky to do private torrenting over a public network? I feel like someone could sniff out your passkey...
