Make sure the cable from the monitor to the vid card is tight, try another cable if possible.

seems the connection is bad....surprised its only when you play games
try a new cable
Check the resolution and refresh rate under normal conditions, then compare with what's being used when you play the games.
If they are different I suspect the monitor can't quite handle the settings used when game playing.
It seems unlikely that just playing a game would cause this effect if the problem was a faulty cable, unless there's a poor junction that can't handle the data rate.
