    MOBO

    RAM

    PSU
As for that i thought the one on page one would be compatible but i checked the socket on the mobo and it needs 20pins, while the psu i chose has 24pins
so i shall look for another

and just convert the 24 pin on the power supply i originally chose and convert it to a 20 pin?
but hey does this all work together?

Your original choice, the Aspire, won't require an adaptor to work...it's convertable from 20-24 pin as it comes.

I don't like that PSU, BTW.
The Sparkle is a far better unit for only what, 20 bucks more?

    From whom?
I would suspect they were either trying to sell you one or had an uncle who knew someone who had one.
    Once.

Seriously dude, you really want to risk all your new, shiny hardware on a dubious PSU?

It has a twenty pin ATX connector with a separate 4 pin that can attach to it if needed.

And no, I don't know what "cool looking" has to do with it, but good luck anyway.
