    I played MERP for a few years, as a Dwarf cook.
    LoL aye MERP - complicated for a pen and paper kinda role playing experience (at least for a thicko like me) But the background story and extra stuff you could get was really amazing. Not to mention the great art work. Basically we used MERP as the structure but quickly ditched the rules or slightly simplified them to our needs.

    That was the pwnage, even tho' the tard who gm'd had tweaked the rules so we could have an über-ship for a fraction of the price you'd pay for something like the Millenium Falcon.
