Make sure you come to Glasgow - it rocks! Much better than Edinburgh, anyway.
Edinburgh is the political capital of Scotland while Glasgow is the economic, social, population, industrial and cultural capital of Scotland. Which would you prefer?!

p.s. i'd also recommend going to glasgow. try and get into the strathclyde student union if you can, it's pretty good
