What is the best program to use? Preferable a small program that I can get right away

I've used goldwave for such a putpose. It's free for limited use (umlimited time, but you can olny do 250 things per session). You can put them in one large audio and remove the blank space at the end of the song. The on'y thing I'm not sure about is the quality. You are starting with a lossy format which is converted to lossless when imported into winamp. But when you save it back to mp3, you will be encoding an already lossy format.

well, goldwave technically is free. you can use it indefinitely, but each time you run it you can only do 250 things (which is a lot). I suggest you try it and maybe get a keygen for it.
