No, they never released 2.92...
Winamp 2.95 was up for download on BetaNews last week(?), but the official site still hasn't been updated.

i no ive heard they are goin to scrap winamp 3 for now and make winamp 2.xx compatible with winamp 3 skins for their next major winamp release

also 2.92 is not realeased on winamp site yet, the best one to get is the full_noad one.

Winamp "5" (title unknown), Late Summer 2003
- Adds Winamp3 skin support, CD ripping, CD burning.
- Fully supports Winamp "classic" and Winamp3 skins
- Fully supports Winamp "classic" plug-ins
- Does not initially support Winamp3 (Wasabi) components
can't wait for this i mean CD Burning in winamp wow. and it wont have a shi*ty long start up like WA3
