The first computer I got access to was at the local defence research division of the Airforce through a computer club at my highschool... it was during the late '70's. We had to program it with punchcards.. It took ages to do the simplest things and we had to wait 2 weeks to get the results... which were just ascii text on reams of perforated print-out sheets.

I had a 56K Spectrum, but that was terrible, the "function" button broke, and we could do nothing with it (you needed it to run the tapes)
then we got a 386 SX 25Hz...wow that was a PC....does anyone remember Prince of Persia game? man thems was the good old days!
It's an abandonware search site, so I don't think it breaks the board rules to post it here...
They have P.o.P there - 2 versions of the original and P.o.P 2 as well.
Enjoy your trip down memory lane guys.
