Any news?
It wasn't that bad, at least where I am, and I'm in the worst hit county in Maryland.
It travelled through very quickly, and the rain and wind could have been much worse. Of course the flooding isn't over; it's just getting started as all the rain dumped here and Pennsylvania runs off into the streams. Power went out once, but was out for a while, and the sewage systems got overloaded. So county residents weren't supposed to flush their toilets.
Hopefully, the board's members from North Carolina and Virginia made it through without any serious problems.
Hello all, well we made it through without too much damage. The area as a whole sustained major damage and many people on the outer banks lost their homes along with many businesses. We now have a new inlet in hatteras village.Thats the same way oregon inlet was created many years ago, soooo,it will be quite awhile before things get back to the norm. Thanks for your concerns, hopefully be back up soon, this PC is running off generator power still.kinda funny cable is working
