Could someone please post some links to the most popular Australian sports papers.
I want to have a few links ready to see what they say when we (England) crush the French tomorrow. And the aussies realise its nowhere near over yet.
Here comes "Shock & Awe".

Even though im a New Zealander, New Zealand were beaten by a better team, And I'm actually going to hope Aussie takes the trophy again. Southern Hemisphere dominance.

im a New Zealander as well.

And i agree fully! We were beaten by a better team of the night.

coulda been a hell of a lot different if the IRFU allowed NZ to co-host the world cup this year

however i wud rather france take the cup

Half time.
England 12 - France 7.
The French look fucked at half time.
England have them beat in scrum and lineout.
Johnny's got the wind behind him for the 2nd half.
The French ARE being mauled.
The French have faces of defeat already, they know England are up for this one.
Next half will show.

Edited: Shock & awe is being applied.

I can't watch the match, but the description on the BBC, makes it sound like a bit of a crap match. Seems to be strewn with errors (is it because of the rain?) and basically Englands just relying on Wilko for reliable points instead of gambling on an attempt for a try. I also heard the crowd are booing the repeated penalty attempts. Is it as bad as that? Is the difference between the teams just down to the kickers ?(I saw Michalak has missed a few)

As i said (i have watched the whole match)....the French were MAULED.
The French did not even score in the 2nd half.
Richard Hill is back and England looked like they were always in control.
The machine is working again.
Great professional rugby from the 15 men in white.

In that weather the drop kick/penalty tactics work very well (as proven by England) the french tried to push forward for a try and look where that got them.
We were forcing errors from the french side by keeping the pressure on.
Cant wait for the final, I'll be in my local pissed by 10:00
