No what's the point of (besides the obvious OP needed to show that he is a member of HDbits - Raban lite) saying that HDbits has briefly opened invites?
Anyone that is in line for an invite is probably going to be offered one without benefit of the announcement and anyone that isn't in line won't stand a chance of receiving one anyway so.....

Just ruining for everyone who hasn't heard.

And Idoleyes, well yes, I hadn't seen it your way, but I will agree. Not entirely, though. A lot of people who got invites had no one in mind to send it to. I knew many people that went around asking/looking around for people to invite, because they're just there for the site and not the social/invite aspect. Those people would have gladly invited someone "random"/not "in line" if given the chance.
